Editing Dialogue
The following pages are from Michael Wohl's Advanced Editing Techniques in Final Cut Pro 5, part of the Apple Pro Certification series. Using the stock footage provided for you, create a smoothly edited dialogue sequence by following the steps in this chapter.
Before you begin, first you must set up Final Cut Pro:
1. Create a new project
2. Immediately save your project in your folder using the following convention: Lastname_FirstName_ProjectName.fcp Call this project "Hope Dialogue".
3. Set your scratch disks to your folder- do this EVERY TIME you open final cut or you risk losing your work!
4. Save your work often: Command+S
